20 yr Class reunion

Saturday was my 20 year class reunion. It was so much fun. I loved seeing my old classmates & friends. There were some that came that really surprised me and others that them not coming surprised me. Paul & I sat with my 2 BFF's from high school, Wendy & Cathy. We laughed & caught up on our lives. We vowed not to lose touch again. Cathy couldn't believe that we have Walking Horses too.
Everyone looked the same but different. Ha! I know makes no sense. Most people I could recognize by looking at the their eyes. Once I realized who each person was. I kept picturing them as they were 20 yrs ago. So wild!
Attached are a couple of my favorite pics from the evening...

Super Saturday!

Today was a beautiful day! It was sunny & nice out. I woke up at the usual time, 5:30am. I could have slept in but I am just programed I guess. I had my first cup of coffee & played on the internet. Then did a little house work. I had to be at my second job by 12:00. I worked there until about 4:15. It was really busy but not as bad as last week. I work tomorrow from 2-9:30pm. I shopped after work. I got 3 shirts and a necklace. When I got home, Paul & I fixed dinner together. It was a tasty Frito salad. Yum! It is time for me to get the kids in the tub.
I have to share some pictures from work(my real job) first...these are a few of my peeps. I love my co-workers...we are truly like family. I couldn't get everyone to pose so this isn't everyone.
The top pic is Tanya--she is my age & has a very sarcastic sense of humor. She is so funny! The next pic is sweet Alexia--she is cute, sweet & silly. She is our newest edition. She is awesome! The last pic is of Ethan and Sara Beth both wearing wigs. It was halloween. Ethan is our token male. He is a sweet guy who cooks for us all the time. Sara Beth is a younger version of me. She & I see eye to eye on so many things. She is brilliant ( ha-ha). We also have Raechelle, Philon & Angela and then the upstairs girls and the boss. Rae is the downstairs supervisor--she's like the Mom of our group even though she is younger than most of us. Philon is crazy. She keeps me laughing. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Angela is our future attorney and very smart. She is the person I go to for Mommy advice. She has 2 kids. Her youngest is a little 10 yr old girl. I don't have pictures of anyone else. :( Like I said before, we are truly like family. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world even though we sometimes want to kill each other. Ha-ha I better end this for now. Sweet dreams!

Trick or treat smell my feet give me something good to eat...

I am finally getting around to blogging again. I have been as I speculated in my 1st post a lazy blogger. I just had to share my little spooks with ya. Shelby decided to be a scarecrow and Isaac was the evil spiderman. This was the first year that I didn't get to go trick or treating with them (boo-hoo.) I had to work. Paul took them to his parents neighborhood where they got tons of candy. I had to dress them up on Saturday for the costume photo shoot. ha-ha. As you can tell in these pictures, my babies are growing up.
Bye for now--I am going to get up & do a few chores that I have been neglecting.

Pumpkin carving

Today we have had another wonderful day. We woke up bright and early for our Sunday morning breakfast with Grammy & Papa. The food & company were great as usual. Then we came home and I went grocery shopping. I couldn't resist getting a huge pumpkin for us to carve. The kids were so excited. We decorated & carved the pumpkin. We saved the seeds to roast tomorrow night. I had to take pictures of the entire transformation from pumpkin to Jack-O-Lantern. The kids and Paul had a pumpkin "guts" fight (ewww.) After lighting the pumpkin, we came inside to eat the delicious hamburgers that Paul grilled. YUMMY! Then, after relaxing for a little while and the kids bath it is time for bed. Good night sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite!

Horsin' Around

Today was a great day! Shelby had a horse show in Lewisburg. Our friend, Jeanie came over and picked Shelby & me up and took us to the show. It was a beautiful day. We enjoyed the scenery & girl talk on the trip over. Paul met us over there. Shelby was catch riding for the Gernt's . How awesome! Shelby loves them and their horses! She rode 5 times! That is the most she has ever shown in one show. She was awesome. She placed in every class-- 1st, 3rd, 3rd, 4th & 5th. She said it was the best show she has ever had. She did not place last in anything! We are proud of what a great rider she has grown into.
Ok the hot tub is calling so I am cutting this short!
Good night!

One busy weekend...

Hi...Feels good to finally sit down. This has been a really busy weekend. I worked at my second job Friday night after getting off my "real" job. I got off at 10:30 and then went to the grocery. Got home about 11:45. I could not go to sleep until about 1:30am. Up again at 5:30. Went to see Mama. We took her to Tullahoma shopping then dropped Mama back at home and came back to the boro. Shelby & I changed clothes in 1 minute flat and left for our friend Brittany's wedding. She was a beautiful bride. It was such a sweet wedding. After the wedding, we came home. We ate dinner and then shortly after, went to bed. Got up @ 5:30 this morning & went to Church, then to WM and then home. A couple hours later, we went to Isaac's friend David's halloween party. It was so fun! After the party, we went out for dinner & then home finally.......yea! I've got to go back to work to rest. Oh I fogot the best part of the weekend. Our friends the Parshes came to town. We were so glad to see our bffs!!! Sadly, they left this morning :( Good night.

my most recent endeavor...

Well, tonight was the first night to work at my new second job. I really like it so far. I will stay busy for sure. I am just planning to work thru the holidays. We are saving for a new kitchen floor! (yeah).
On the home front, the kids got their school pictures back. They turned out great!
Paul took the kids out to our friend, Susan's barn for Shelby to ride Jeanie's horse Rooster. Shelby loves Rooster and Jeanie & Susan too.
I am trying to make time to play with my"new" camera. I love photography! I know my pictures aren't spectacular but I love them and they make me feel good. I know that is what counts. Also, I am able to capture our families memories on film. It amazes me to look back on pictures from the past. Things that I thought I would never forget seem to fade over time. I can look over my pictures and relive all of those wonderful memories.
Attached is a picture taken from our front porch on a Sunday morning.
I had better end this & get ready for bed
Good Night :)
